Women's Shops

by Josephine

Unlike the men, the women in this town have a plethora of shops to choose from. The only similarity here, once again, is the lack of distinction. To keep from going insane with trendy pieces season after season we recommend starting with classic pieces. Then accessorize with designer and vintage pieces to make a look of your own. Here are a few recommendations on where to go:

ALDO (Ridgedale Mall)
Ladies if you like Nine West, you'll love Aldo. They have just opened their first store in Minnesota, offering a much more unique selection of shoes at a middle of the road price point.

Arden B. (Ridgedale Mall)
This store sits above the rest. Their designers keep with the trends to offer fashion forward pieces to accessorize your wardrobe.

Blue Bird Boutique(50th & France)
where you're sure to find obscure designers and one of a kind pieces.

GH2 (318 E Hennepin N.E.)
London, Paris, New York Designers and more at consignment prices. This location is the newest. They also have an Edina location.

Heavenly Soles (615 W. Lake Street)
A small but fun selection of boots and shoes. Get as out there as you will want what they have to offer.

INTOTO (3105 Hennepin Ave.)
A shop that offers classic sportswear pieces with an edge, but bring your wallet, because with designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, Paul Smith, etc. it gets a little spendy. Mr. B. & Sarah will definitely take care of you.

Ivy (3001 Hennepin Avenue Calhoun Square)
Personalized service, sexy tops and accessories and the best selection of designers make this a must stop shop

Len Druskin (Galleria-Edina)
Where you can find the latest (must have) in trendy fashion labels such as; Juicy Couture sweats, 7seven jeans, and Premium Levis to name a few.

Neiman Marcus Shoes (2nd flr. 505 Nicollet Mall)
One of the few places to pick up designer shoes such as Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Tods, etc.

Nordstrom Savvy (2nd flr. Mall of America)
When they first opened, this savvy department was off the hook, but over the years it fell off. Now, it's making a come back. It's also one of the few places to pick up a pair of 7seven jeans.

Nordstrom Shoes (1st flr. Mall of America)
Since Nordstrom's originally opened as a shoe store, they naturally have one of the best shoe departments and the service to go with it.

Marshall Fields-Oval Room(3rd flr. 700 on the mall)
– This is a great place to find designer pieces such as; Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, Missoni, Prada, Escada, Chanel & Michael Kors to name a few. When they have a sale, they have a sale.

Marshall Fields-Oval Room Shoes (1st flr. 700 on the mall)
the other great place to pick up designer shoes such as; Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Richard Tyler, etc. Please tell Eric Ini sent you.

Sisley (Mall of America)
Sisley is to Benneton as Lexus is to Toyota. A more refined, updated and fashion forward side of the classic Benneton. Please tell Khaled that ini@theskini.com sent you
