Bubbles and Boots

The weather is changing and so is the fashion of the hour.   This season is showing layers, fur, shorts, bubble skirts, gloves and boots - no, not the twenty below kind.   This is indoor fashion only, so go out and get that automatic car warmer you were thinking about last winter and put together some great new looks.

Layers are popular for both men and women.   Sweaters tied over the shoulders of a tailored jacket or even jackets over jackets are being shown.   Put on your spring jean jacket but layer a leather or suede jacket on top for a warm and chic combination.  

Can't bear to put away your sexy, summer sandals?   Don't.   A pair of cable-knit knee-highs scrunched down and worn underneath can give you a whole new season with them. But make sure they are in tip-top shape.

Bubble skirts add elegance to both long and short looks.  

 

Paired with matching gloves gives a glamorous touch.  

Boots are a very practical fashion statement and are still the best match for dresses and skirts.   Think updated 80's and pair with a matching print for sexy Anna Sui style.

 

Fur is another practical yet fashionable look of the season shown by many of the designers including Alberta Ferretti.   Faux fur comes in every shape so pick up a few different pieces to spice up any of this season's looks.   Fur accents in scarves or shawls all the way to big, oversized coats make for a light spirit and sexy feel.
