Sweater Season

Winter always looks good on boys.   Or should I say I just love a man in a big sweater.   Something about the soft appearance of the fabric stretched over broad shoulders just works. And this season the choices are plentiful.  

Cable knit sweaters are shown in every color.   A perfect compliment to the sexy winter knee-highs the girls are wearing.   Choose one with a wide, open collar then layer a tailored shirt underneath and throw a suit coat on top for a warm, casual and sexy look. For a more relaxed style the zip up cable-knit sweater can be layered over t-shirts or turtlenecks

Out on business?   The must have item for winter is the cable-knit scarf.   Oversized or regular, in blue, grey or white, this is the perfect accessory for style without effort.  

Tired of wearing the same old parka every day?   Keep warm with layers of medium weight items.   A turtleneck paired with a jean jacket gives you that springtime look but add a tailored leather or suede jacket on top of that and the result is relaxed and interesting.

Don't forget that slim pants are still going strong.   Tucked into boots is the look of the season but this time more modern and relaxed than the hard edge of the 80's. Leave the top of the boots open and untied.

Now, go to your neighborhood coffee shop, strike a pose and let the winter flirtations begin.
